Kinsy McVay, the art teacher at De Zavala, received some very exciting news over the weekend:  his first children's book had finally been released!  Last September, when he had been unable to locate a children's book on the Art Element of Line, Mr. McVay decided to create his own.  Now, a little over a year later, his dream has come true.

His book, titled Just Line Around, tells the story of a horizontal line named Stew.  Quite by accident, Stew discovers that he can do more than just lie around all day.  He can jump, squiggle, and swirl his way toward becoming a masterpiece.  Mr. McVay can't wait to share this journey of creativity with his students.
