Principal, Carlos Mendoza

Mr. Mendoza has 17 years of experience in elementary education as a teacher, bilingual consultant, and as an admininistrator. He has an undergraduate degree from Texas Wesleyan University and a master's degree from Texas A&M University. This is his second year as Principal at Natha Howell.

 

Assistant Principal, Kelly Smith

Mrs. Smith is completing her 26th year in education this year - 25 of them with the Fort Worth ISD. Her experience includes all grades from 1-12 and she has taught at Pascal HS, D. McRae ES, T.A. Sims ES, Nash ES, and Oakhurst ES. She has been an Assistant Principal for eight years between Western Hills ES and Natha Howell ES. Her degrees/certifications are from TCU, Texas Wesleyan, UTA, Texas Woman's University, Baylor and University of North Texas.  

David Bell

 

Counselor, James Bell

J. David Bell received his B.S., M. Ed. in Counseling from the University of North Texas. This is his 13th year as a counselor with the Fort Worth ISD. He enjoys children and has four of his own. He finds it fulfilling to teach and work with children to help them build their character. David plays the guitar and many times takes it with him to the classrooms. 

 

 

Patty McKenney

 

Nurse, Patty McKenney

Patty McKenney RN/BSN, received her Bachelor's Degree from Texas Woman's University/Denton. She has 33 years of nursing experience, including working at Parkland, St. Paul, Baylor and Methodist Hospitals in Dallas. This is her 12th year of school nursing and eleven of those years have been at Natha Howell. She is also the school nurse for Bonnie Brae Elementary.
