Fort Worth ISD Schools

In August 2007, Terry became the principal of Jo Kelly School. Mr. Mashburn has over 16 years experience in education which includes eleven years in Special Education. He obtained his teaching certificate in 1992 through an Alternative Teacher Certification Program and earned the Master of Education degree in 1995. Prior to becoming principal, he held a variety of positions in education including Vocational Adjustment Coordinator/Teacher, Transition Coordinator, Instructional Support Coordinator and Assistant Principal. Before coming to Jo Kelly as principal, he served six years as Assistant Principal of Boulevard Heights and the Transition Center. This responsibility also included assisting the principal with responsibilities over numerous district Transition and Vocational Programs for students with disabilities. Before becoming an educator Mr. Mashburn held various management positions in the business sector.

Secretary- Anita Miller

Anita began in the district in 1981 as a paraprofessional and became a school secretary at Natha Howell Elementary in 1985. Mrs. Miller became the secretary for Jo Kelly School in September of 1991. She says, “I work with a great staff, my students are exceptional and life is good!”

Data Clerk- Gloria Kelsey

Gloria has worked for Fort Worth ISD for 33 years. Her first assignment after being hired was working as a teacher assistant at S.S. Dillow Elementary. Then she worked at J.P. Elder Middle School as a counselor clerk. She is currently the Data Clerk at Jo Kelly and couldn't be happier.
