It was announced in June that Rufino Mendoza Elementary is a 2009 - 2010 Texas Education Association (TEA) Recognized school.  This is the first time in over five years that Rufino Mendoza has achieved this status by TEA.  The Mendoza faculty and staff looks forward to proudly serving the students and community during this school year.
