Principal - Evelyn Collins 
Evelyn Collins is a native of Fort Worth, Texas.  She is a proud graduate of Como Junior/Senior High School.  She received her bachelor degree from Prairie View A & M University.  Ms. Collins also has a masters degree from Texas Woman's  University, in both Counseling and Education Administration.  In 2008, Ms. Collins retired from the Fort Worth Independent School District after 36 years of dedicated service.  Before her retirement, Ms. Collins worked at New Lives for 18 years, and is now back to continue her service to the students she loves so much. 

Assistant Principal - Maria Bishop
I grew up in Puerto Rico.  I attended Puerto Rico University, and graduated with honors.  My working career started in Fajardo, Puerto Rico as a high school teacher.  Then I pursued my masters degree in Administration and served as an elementary school principal for ten years.  I was promoted and served as a high school principal in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for five years.  I was promoted to assistant superintendent for five years.  My family moved to the states, and I started working in Fort Worth as assistant principal.  I am currently working at the Center for New Lives as assistant principal.  New Lives has brought me enjoyment through assisting our young ladies and their babies.  I am proud to help these students stay in school and be successful. 

School Counselor - Consuelo Galindo
My name is Consuelo Martinez Galindo, and I live in Benbrook, Texas.  I am a wife, mother, and gradmother.  My husband's name is Pedro, and we have been married 40 years.  We have four adult children - two sons and two daughters.  We also have six grandsons and one granddaughter.  I was born in Victoria, Texas, and lived there until after I got married.  then I moved to Oceanside, California, to join my husband who was stationed at the Marine base in Camp Pendleton, California.  After he was discharged, we came to live here in Fort Worth.  We liked it here and decided to stay and make it our home.  I have worked with the Fort Worth ISD for 27 years - 19 years as a teacher and 8 years as a counselor.

School Nurse - Pamela Roberson
The practice makes the voice of school nursing stronger for students' health and educational success.  Serving the past year at New Lives has been wonderful.  As the school nurse, I provide pregnancy related services to pregnant teens, schedule and coordinate all health assessment screenings in accordance with state law, and provide first aid, emergency care and serve as a health education resource to students and staff.  My untimate goal, however, is to provide quality health care for all students.  I am humble to be a part of the team.

Social Worker - Tonya Coleman
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington and then changed my degree plan to social work and received my Masters of Science in Social Work.  My experience in the field started with internships at Alliance for Children working with children who have been sexually or physically abused and then at Venture High School in Arlington ISD.  I started my work experience with Santa Fe Adolescent Services working with at risk adolescents with substance use and a variety of mental health issues.  I then was introduced to New Lives and was hired as one of the school social workers.  As one of two social workers on the campus, I have the opportunity to work with the students on a personal level, not only with resources, but with individual needs.  The Social Work department's goal is to provide social services and assistance to improve the social and psychological functioning of children and their families.  The objective of the Social Worker is to work with students to minimize and/or remove barriers that prohibit success in school.  The Social Workers at new Lives are available to assist students with family issues, transition into parenthood, childcare, and community resources/referrals. 

 Social Worker - Tamitra Pannell
I received my Bachelors of Arts in Social Work from Grambling State University in 2001 and a Masters of Science in Social Work from UTA in 2003.  My work experience inclulde Child Protection Services, Case Manager for a domestic violence shelter, and Crisis Intervention Counselor for the Office of Mental Health.  I've worked for Caddo Public Schools as a Behavior Intervention Specialist and a Special Education Social Worker.  Here at the Center for New Lives, I assist students with obtaining necessary resources that will help them stay in school.  Also, I provide group and individual counseling such as conflict mediation and crisis intervention.

CampusTesting Coordinator - Niesha Small
Miss Small is new to the New Lives family.  She currently serves as the Campus Testing Coordinator and also teaches Spanish courses in the World Languages Department.  In addition to her duties as Coordinator and Instructor, Ms. Small works with the Extended Day Program, is a member of the Site-Based Decision Making Team, and coordinates the TAKS tutoring program at New Lives.  Miss Small attended Stephen F. Austin University in Nacagdoches, Texas, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and Spanish.  She is a native of Houston, but relocated to Fort Worth in 2006 where she began her teaching career with FWISD at Eastern Hills High School
