 Arts & Culture Explorers (ACE)  All World Language Teachers Open to all current and former World Language students who are interested in learning about the arts and cultural diversity
 Anime Club  Ava Brown Watch Japanese animation and have discussions about the situations of the characters.

 Film Club

Samuel Wilson, Kim Morgan, Club of students who gather to analyze, review and produce films.  It is a film appreciation club.
 German American Partnership Program (GAPP) Laura Boyle Largest exchange program in the USA- exchange program between the US and Germany.  The GAPP exchange occurs every other school year Must have completed 2 years of German at the time of the exchange
 Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) Leanne Thomas This group provides a safe and informal place where students, gay and straight, can talk about their feelins and experiences regarding homosexuality

 Key Club Adriel Jones Student-led organization whose goal is to teach leadership through serving others. You need to be willing to help others
 Literary Criticism and Spelling/Vocabulary  Jessica Thomas
 Math Club    Charlene Trotter Compete in math competitions with 3 categories: mathematics, number sense, and calculator
 National Honor Society   (NHS)  Charles Kilgore and Charles Haley NHS is the national organization that recognizes and stresses scholarship, leadership, character, and service.  At Southwest, juniors and seniors have the privilege to be selected for membership Must be a junior or senior.  Must have at least a 3.75 GPA and be enrolled in at least 3 AP/Honors courses (juniors) or 2 AP/Honors courses (seniors)

Principals Youth Advisory Council Yassmin Lee and Patricia Dunlop
 Raider Connection  Trish Erwin Juniors and Seniors who mentor incoming freshman.  Assit in various activities throughout the year, including Freshman Camp.  The idea is "students helping students" Must be a junior or senior, teacher recommendation is helpful (but not required), must fill out an application and be accepted into the program
 Rowdy Raiders   Jeoff Johnson Must be a senior and be able to attend the required athletic events.  Must be rowdy!
Showgirls Leah Parker A traditional dance team that performs at all of the football games, many of the basketball games, and attends dance competitions during the school year
 Science Club     Carolyn Johnson
 Student Council (STUCO)    Jessica Estes The governing group of the student body.  A service group that participates in the Texas Association of Student Councils. Must fill out an application and maintain a certain number of points per six weeks.  Must be passing all classes with no discipline referrals
 Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE)   Jessica Thomas This club is for anyone who plans on being a teacher, counselor, coach, or anyone working with kids
UIL 1 Act Play LindaJo Staton
 United High School Council (UHSC)  Deanna Carter
 Whiz Quiz    Laura Boyle and Kevin Watterson For students who like to test their knowledge against their peers.  Teams from all over Fort Worth high schools compete in matches that consist of four rounds  Only requirement is that you want to win!
 Youth and Government  Trish Erwin This program is sponsored by the YMCA.  Students can participate in mock trials, write a bill, or take part in broadcast and print media.
