Elizabeth Myers was awarded teacher of the year for the 2008-2009 school year. The district honored each campus representative at a special banquet on April 16, 2009.
Ms. Myers completed her undergraduate work at Stephen F. Austin State University. She is currently working on her masters in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Ms Myers was born and raised in Arlington. She has been teaching at Waverly Park for three years and is a fourth grade math teacher. Waverly Park is blessed to have her as a part of our faculty.
