 Academics are important and Moritz Kia encourages the students of ODW by sponsoring this Academic Excellence Program.

  How does it Work!

Students are awarded tickets for their success in math, science, english and social studies classes, perfect attendance for the six weeks and success on the math, science, english and social studies TAKS test. Each six weeks, students qualify for tickets based on their ability to meet the following requirements:

·      3 tickets per six weeks for a grade of 91 or higher in a math, science, english, or social studies class.

·      2 tickets per six weeks for a grade of 81 or higher in a math, science, english, or social studies class.

·      1 tickets per six weeks for a grade of 70 or higher in a math, science, english, or social studies class.

·      3 tickets per six weeks for perfect attendance during that six weeks.

·      3 tickets per passing the spring TAKS 2008 test in math.

·      3 tickets for passing the spring TAKS 2008 test in science.

·      Students must be enrolled at O. D. Wyatt by Friday, October 26, 2007 through May 30, 2008.

·      Students can not be placed in alternative school during the school year.
